
Melanie Kirk Managing Director
Mel set up Pulsar in 1999 and brings extensive healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing experience. Initially from a marketing background, Mel worked as a Management Consultant for over two years, providing strategic advice to the NHS and added-value services to pharmaceutical clients.
Mel has successfully led and managed a significant number of launch and re-branding projects, both nationally and internationally. Clients have included pharmaceutical companies such as Bayer plc and AstraZeneca and healthcare clients such as Siemens and Bupa Home Healthcare.
When she takes time out from work, Mel's passions include fast cars and formula 1 racing. She is also a keen boxer, but luckily for her sparring partner, she doesn't enter the ring in her killer stilettos!
Mel has recently been appointed onto the strategy group of the Patient Information Forum (PiF).

Chris Duncan - Creative Director
Chris brings a wealth of experience across healthcare and consumer brands, having worked on numerous award-winning campaigns in a career that spans over twenty years.
Chris has won over 120 national and international awards, for effectiveness as well as creativity, including IPA/HAAG Best of Health, Rx club Awards, PM awards and Global Awards.
Outside of work, Chris is a keen fine artist, working in sheet metal and exhibiting his work in local galleries. He is quite sporty too, playing squash, ice hockey and inline hockey competitively - and even running the odd half marathon!
